With 15 years of experience in tech startups, venture capital, and civic engagement—including leadership roles at Union Square Ventures, the Uniswap Foundation, and Tech:NYC—Bethany spent the summer revitalizing her block on the Upper West Side, organizing events, and testing new AI-powered tools to build connection. She founded Sousa to help community leaders bring the joys and coordination of marching band to to their own blocks and neighborhoods. She was a proud flute player in the Northwestern University Marching Band for four years and
